In Finnish the northern lights are called 'revontulet' which means 'fox fires'. The name comes from a myth of a fire fox - during the day this fox was black and at night its fur was on fire. When the fire fox ran on snow and its fur and tail hit tree branches and bushes, sparks flew to the sky and created the northern lights.<\/p>\n
Plywood jewellery is light to wear. Our jewellery is made of Finnish FSC- and PEFC-certified birch plywood and the metal jewellery parts are silver-plated. The jewellery may initially smell like wood, but the smell will dissipate over time.<\/p>\n
Our jewellery does not contain nickel.<\/p>\n
Avoid exposing the product to water and chemicals.<\/p>\n
