According to Finnish mythology the bear was born in Bog Dipper, from where it was let down on Earth in a golden box carried by silver straps. When a bear was killed, people organized sort of a funeral/wedding party for it called 'peijaiset'. At the end of peijaiset, the bears skull was put high on a tree branch, so its soul could find its way back to heavens.
Plywood jewellery is light to wear. Our jewellery is made of Finnish FSC- and PEFC-certified birch plywood and the metal jewellery parts are silver-plated. The jewellery may initially smell like wood, but the smell will dissipate over time.
Our jewellery does not contain nickel.
Avoid exposing the product to water and chemicals.

The background cardboard of the jewellery is recycled cardboard. We mail the jewellery in cardboard packaging suitable for recycling.
